Gregory
A. Fraser was born at Clark A.F.B. in the Philippines on July 5, 1962. Greg
was admitted to the Texas bar in 1988, and was also admitted to practice before
the United States District court for the Northern District of Texas in 1988
and the Eastern District of Texas in 1993. He received his preparatory education
at Austin College in Sherman, Texas, where he graduated on the Dean’s
list with a Bachelor of Arts in 1984. Greg’s legal education was at Texas
Tech University School of Law, where he graduated with a Juris Doctor degree
in 1988.
After graduating from law school, Greg began his private practice in a North Dallas law firm, gaining his experience in commercial and general civil litigation, creditor bankruptcy representation, corporate matters, collections, as well as insurance defense. In 1992 he also co-authored “Pursuing A Guarantor: Avoiding the Pitfalls” for the American Conference Institute.
Greg left Dallas in 1993, moving his practice to Tyler, and then again to Lindale in 2001, where he has continued his practice in the above areas.
Greg is currently a member of the Smith County Bar Association,
the Texas Bar Association, the Texas Association
of Bank Counsel, and the Bar Association of the Fifth Federal
Circuit.
